Research Interests
My PhD research is titled "The genomics of host-virus coevolution." This study of the ongoing battle between hosts and viruses reflects myresearch interests and skills and beyond its scientific fascination, this work has potential real-world applications, unravelling disease origins, immune responses, and One Health connections between human, animal, and environmental health. The proposed project, combining bioinformatics and computation, provides an ideal platform for me to leverage my virology, programming, and machine learning expertise while developing new computational and bioinformatic skills.
