Research Interests
My research interest lies in exploring how complex factors such as mutation rates, gene flow, host-pathogen interactions, and environmental toxin influence the genetic diversity of Drosophila populations. My postdoctoral research with Darren focuses on deciphering the evolutionary history of Endogenous Viral Elements (EVEs) in Drosophilidae, leveraging computational biology and genome analysis to uncover patterns of viral integration and evolution, with implications for viral disease management and evolutionary biology.
